Last updated: June 2026
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FaultNet, a software-as-a-service platform operated by FaultNet ("we", "us", or "our").
By creating an account or using FaultNet, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of service
FaultNet is an online platform that allows users to document, track, share and search vehicle fault cases. Features include fault case management, diagnostic code lookup, timeline tracking, vehicle garage management, AI-assisted fault analysis (Pro tier only) and community search.
Access is provided via a web application at faultnet.io and associated subdomains.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use FaultNet. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
4. Account registration
4.1 You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
4.2 You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at contact@faultnet.io if you suspect unauthorised access.
4.3 We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe your credentials have been compromised or misused.
4.4 One person or entity may not maintain more than one account without our prior written consent.
5. Subscription and billing
5.1 FaultNet is available on a free Standard tier and a paid Pro tier.
5.2 Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe. Prices are displayed on the pricing page and quoted in GBP inclusive of VAT (if applicable).
5.3 Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time through the Stripe customer portal accessible from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time.
5.4 We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.
5.5 All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store payment card details.
6. User content
6.1 You retain ownership of any content you submit to FaultNet ("User Content"), including fault case descriptions, timeline entries, photos, videos and vehicle data.
6.2 By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display and distribute it as part of the FaultNet service, including making it searchable to other users.
6.3 You warrant that your User Content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights and does not violate any applicable law.
6.4 We may remove User Content that violates these Terms without prior notice.

14.2 We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for a material breach of these Terms, persistent violation of the prohibited conduct rules, non-payment or where required by law.
14.3 On termination, your access to the service ceases. Your public-facing content may remain visible until specifically removed.
