Profile & settings
Your profile is where you manage your account, security settings, preferences and plan.
Account info
Profile shows your display name and email address. These are set when you register and can be updated here if things change.
Changing your password
Go to Profile → Change password. You'll need your current password to set a new one.
Two-factor authentication
Set up a TOTP authenticator for extra account security. See the account setup guide for step-by-step instructions.
Preferences
Other people can contribute to my fault cases
When this is on other FaultNet users can add comments and replies and run AI analysis on your fault cases. Turn it off if you'd prefer to keep your cases editable only by you.
Fault case notifications
Get an email when someone adds a timeline entry to one of your cases (Standard and Pro).

Get an email when a case you follow is updated. Upgrade to Pro →
Hide product recommendations
Pro feature
FaultNet shows relevant parts and tool recommendations on fault cases. If you'd rather not see these, Pro users can turn them off here. Upgrade to Pro →
Landing page
Pick which tab opens when you first log in, Dashboard, Garage, Cases or Search.
My plan
Profile → My plan shows your current subscription status:
- Standard — free tier, shows a link to upgrade
- Pro — shows your billing interval (monthly or yearly), renewal date and a link to the Stripe customer portal where you can update payment details, switch billing intervals or cancel
Upgrading to Pro
Tap Upgrade to Pro from the Profile page or visit faultnet.io/app/upgrade. Billing is handled by Stripe.
Closing your account
Profile → Close account permanently deletes your account. This can't be undone.
